Dr Inoue Osamu

Dr Inoue is Associate Professor at Kyoto University of the Arts. He is a leading academic in ikebana studies with a number of publications on ikebana and Japanese traditional arts. He is also Professor in Sagagoryu School of Ikebana. He has helped Ikebana Gallery Award as a judge since its foundation. He has lectured on ikebana at Monash University, Bauhaus University, Chinese Culture University, and Notthingham Trent University.

京都大学大学院文学研究科博士後期課程修了。博士（文学）。旧嵯峨御所華道総司所学術顧問、文化庁文化創造アナリスト（華道）、いけ花ギャラリーアワード審査員。著書に『花道の思想』（思文閣出版、2016年）、『歌・花・香と茶道』（思文閣、2017年）、『茶と花』（共著、山川出版社、2020年）など（researchmap）。
